Our Rustic Garden Pergola, with a Chippendale like pattern on the
sides, is a simple accent that creates a dramatic effect at an
entrance to garden, end of walk, or alone. It is handcrafted
in the Adirondacks of kiln dried Northern White Cedar. The
wood, which is natural and untreated, ships in its natural color of
pale tan or light gold. Left untreated, it will last for 25 to
30 years, but weathering can be delayed even longer by use of a
finish. The fresh cedar odor is a mild insect repellant.
Cedar has the US Forest Laboratory highest rating for decay and
disease resistance.
