Returns

Our mission is to deliver quality products of exceptional value. For this reason, we stand behind all our products and if you’re not fully satisfied with your purchase we offer a 30 day return policy. You will be refunded the purchase price of the product, excluding all shipping charges and a 30% restocking fee.

Any products or accessories that are custom made or made-to-order are not eligible for returns and cannot be cancelled once the order has been placed.

Returns Shipping Charges

We offer Free Shipping on all of our products but please note that you are responsible for all return shipping charges unless the item is defective. These return charges will be deducted from your total refund amount.

All products need to be returned in like-new, resalable condition and in their original, undamaged packaging (not shipping materials, just product packaging), manufacturer’s containers, documentation, warranty cards, manuals and all accessories. Otherwise the product will be considered non-returnable or subject to a 50% restocking fee.

Restocking Fee

The restocking fee is 30% of the product's purchase price. For example, if you purchase a product for $100 your restocking fee would be $30 (100 x 0.30 = 30). This restocking fee will be deducted from your total refund amount.

Damaged Items

If you receive any items that were damaged during shipping please contact us immediately. When possible, damage should also be noted with the freight carrier. Please do not use the item and keep all packaging materials and the box for inspection.

If damaged packages are received without notating the damage on drivers waybill the contract that Porch Swings Plus or the manufacturer made with the freight company on behalf of the customer will become null and void. Therefore the customer will be required to pay all freight charges involved with return of the damaged item as well as all freight charges for shipping the replacement item to them.

Defective Items

Email us at help@porchswingsplus.com and let us know your name and order number. State the defective areas of the item in as much detail as possible. If you are able to attach a picture of the defect, that would be helpful and save time in processing and sending you a replacement.

Processing Returns

Returns are processed quickly if done via email rather than phone. To request a return use our contact form to enter your name and order number. In the Details section please answer the following:

  1. Reason for returning the product.

  2. Is the product still in its original packaging?

  3. Is the product damaged in any way?

  4. Are there any defects to the product?

  5. Have you read and understood our Returns Shipping charges?

  6. Have you read and understood our Restocking fees?

You will receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and any special instructions needed for your return. Returns will not be accepted without RMA numbers.

Getting your Refund

It can take up to 2 weeks for your return package to reach us. It is always best to send your package back in a manner that is trackable and insurable (UPS, Fed Ex, or Delivery Confirmation). We are not responsible for non-receipt of returns that cannot be tracked, nor can we confirm receipt of a return or exchange until it has been processed.

Once we receive your return and verify its condition we will process a refund for you. You will be notified by email once your refund has been applied. It can take up to 5-10 business days to see the funds on your credit card or PayPal account.

Exchanges

Exchanges may be made within 30 days of your original order if the manufacturer accepts exchanges. To request an exchange please use our contact form to enter your name and order number. In the Details section please include the following:

  1. Reason for the exchange.

  2. The product you would like to receive in exchange.

However, to ensure availability of the item you would like to exchange for, it is best to place a new order for the item online and return the original item according to the above Returns Procedures. You will be required to pay for all return shipping charges.

Exchanges are processed within 14 days of our receipt of the item(s).

Gifts

Gifts may be returned for store credit or credited back to purchaser's credit card. We cannot issue a refund to the gift recipient. The same Return Policy and procedures stated above applies to returned gifts. Please use our contact form to enter your name and order number. In the Details section please include the following:

  1. The name of the person who purchased the item.

  2. The item to be returned.

  3. Reason for the return.

Please include a copy of the original packing slip with your return -- without that information we cannot process your store credit.
