Shipping via Freight
Carriers usually schedule deliveries Monday through Friday between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. For large orders, when your product arrives in your local area the motor freight company will call and schedule a delivery location and time so you can sign for the delivery. Note that for large items if you are not home to accept delivery you may be charged for the first attempt to deliver by the carrier.
Standard freight delivery only provides curbside delivery. You will be required to provide the extra man power or a loading dock for anything other than curbside delivery. Additional delivery charges may be incurred if you require special services such as lift-gate, inside delivery, etc. When the motor freight company calls to arrange a delivery time and location, specify any special services you will require of them and confirm the charges you will incur.
Lead & Delivery Times
Lead time is the number of days it takes any particular product to be processed and prepared for shipping. Lead times are dependent on various factors and are not guaranteed.
Delivery time is calculated from when a product leaves our warehouse to when it arrives at your destination. Delivery times are also dependent on various factors and cannot be guaranteed.
Most items ship within 2 weeks although custom orders or made-to-order items require longer lead and delivery times and can take up to 4-6 weeks.

When your order ships you will receive a tracking number which you can use to track your order online and check estimated delivery time and dates. You should obtain the freight company's phone number in case you need to change the delivery time.
Damaged or Defective Items
Before you sign for receipt of your product(s) please carefully inspect each package for damage to the box or goods inside. Boxes can be damaged during shipping but the product on the inside often remains in good condition. If you discover any damage on the product itself, please contact us immediately so we can process a claim with the manufacturer and help you replace the damaged or defective part of the product.
When possible, damage should also be noted with the freight carrier by writing “Product Damaged or Product Missing” on the sheet that the carrier asks you to sign. Please do not use the item and keep all packaging materials and the box for inspection.
If damaged packages are received without notating the damage on drivers waybill, Porch Swings Plus must be notified by email within 3 days with supporting photos of the damaged product and photos of all internal and external packaging. If the damage notation has not been made on the drivers copy of the waybill the contract that Porch Swings Plus or the manufacturer made with the freight company on behalf of the customer will become null and void. Therefore the customer will be required to pay all freight charges involved with return of the damaged item as well as all freight charges for shipping the replacement item to them.
Do not refuse the package, when possible damages should also be noted with the freight carrier. Failure to accept the package and follow our Shipping Policy will result in charges for return shipping and a 30% restocking fee as stated in our Returns Policy.

Returns Shipping Charges
We offer Free Shipping with many of our products but please note that you are responsible for all return shipping charges unless the item is defective. These return charges will be deducted from your total refund amount.
All products need to be returned in like-new, resalable condition and in their original, undamaged packaging (not shipping materials, just product packaging), manufacturer’s containers, documentation, warranty cards, manuals and all accessories. Otherwise the product will be considered non-returnable or subject to a 50% restocking fee.
Custom orders or made-to-order products are made specifically for you by the artisan and are non-refundable unless defective or damaged.
We only ship within the 48 contiguous states.
We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes, AFO, APO and FPO addresses.
Orders to California will be charged a 9.00% sales tax at checkout.
If you order multiple items in a single order, each product may be shipped from separate locations.
If you accidentally listed the wrong shipping address on your order, please contact us immediately with the correct address.
We currently cannot ship to multiple addresses. If you would like to ship to multiple addresses you will need to place multiple orders.
Always sign the delivery receipt by writing “Pending Notification” in case you later find concealed damage.
